How long will we continue in sin that grace
may abound? How long will the supposed messengers of God, the children
of God behave like the devil, shaming Christ, and use his name only to
take away their sinful reproach?
These are questions I asked years ago, and when I asked
them then as I ask now, the questions were and still are the questions of God.
Then the people in Holiness/Apostolic Faith churches dismissed them,
saying I was young and had not experienced enough. They would not see
that the spirit of God was resting on me and that the questions were of
God and not me.
God gave me the gift of teaching as a ministry gift, and the
saints rejected that gift of God. I was young and a game student of his
word; I would study the words for hours and hours (10-16 hours some
days). But the people of long tenure in the church were not interested
in what God had given me. One sister told me that a young man cannot
teach her anything. I was hurt because what I spoke, was from the
Lord. But God's word tells us this: "If any man be ignorant, let him be
ignorant." And God took me and the gift that he gave me, for the
edification of the body of Christ, and sent me to use that gift where
people would appreciate it and even pay me for it as I grew in grace and
knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ.
God gave me the gift of teaching as my primary gift,
but he used me in other gifts of the spirit as well. But I Lord sent me
into the public school system of higher learning, and there they not
only applauded my knowledge, they paid me for it; the Lord took me
across this nation as a consultant for the Department of Labor and the
Department of Veteran Affairs and to the State of California and they
paid me to use that gift at the rate of $250.00 per hour. This is the
gift God's people rejected--the stone set at naught of the builders....
And he did this for a purpose: that he could lift me up and bless me
financially so that I would and could be able to say that all that I
have is from the Lord. None of God's people who said they wanted the
truth of God, but didn't would be able to say anything other than this
is the Lord's doing.
These supposed truth-lovers showed themselves not to be
truth-lovers at all, but false teachers and saints in darkness who shy
away from light because their deeds are evil. So now I am no longer the
young man who cannot teach these supposed seasoned in the Lord saints
anything. And as then, so is the picture the same today. I seem too
young for them even now; I seem too educated for them now. They have
their own cult personality--"My pastor." And the Lord has increased my
understanding of Him, while that once vaunted PAW church organization
and Apostolic Faith/Jesus Name churches have gotten larger in numbers,
yet they have gone far from God and his word.
Today many of them are minting dumb dogs that cannot
bark--lazy, greedy dogs who love to slumber; they are ordaining female
bishops who are in fact the husband of one wife and govern their house
well and follow all the other male qualifications that the scriptures
delineate; they have men who are homosexuals from the pulpits and the
pews because God did not really mean that such behavior is an
abomination to him--after all, that is the way they were born; seemingly
all the ministers have gone after money because it is the American way
and we must conform to the customs of the nations we are in; it is the
way of the world. The words of Rev. Ike were not said by them ("The lack
of money is the root of all evil.") but it is their mantra and they
behave according to his philosophy. There is all types of infidelities,
hidden things of dishonesty, drug use, thievery, and sins that are
unspeakable that goes on in many (maybe most) of these finely built
churches, as saints in darkness masquerade as saints in light.
That money lust has overtaken the church. Many of these
saints in darkness think that God only blesses in financial ways. Or at
least, they do not care about any other ways he blesses, unless they
become ill and the doctors say that you had better prepare to meet your
maker. Then it is time for God. But God that "I will not hear." This
love of money lust is really the root of all these other sins. One way
that lust is manifested is that seemingly every pastor assumes that he
or she should have a Mercedes Benz or some other overly expensive car
that is paid for by church members. And although the pastor works
nowhere, he is supposed to have a fine home, paid for by the church
members. And the members believe this drivel because a laborer is
worthy of his hire. But as irresponsible stewards, no one is
checking on the labor they are producing; sermons read out of books they
didn't write; sermons that are shallow and little more than baby food
fed to 30-year old babies who actually like the food. These are retarded
and spiritually delayed children, and don't worry, Christ is coming back
for a church without spot, blemish, wrinkles or any such them, but holy
unto himself. What do these saints in darkness think that Christ is?
Would we actually serve a diet of insults to our king and think that he
will accept it? What has happened is that we are measuring God by our
frailties and our limitation. God is God, not foolish man! God's
standard is the only standard he will accept.
This is what they assume is a right of their position.
Far are they from an understanding of God's word and from God. But close
are they to carnality and sin.
These would be teachers are usually babes in Christ and
need to be taught, yet they are teachers of milk to people who have only
been going to church for forty years; they have not been saved. Do not
misunderstand me, you who readily dismiss God's word and His messenger, I am not some 25 or 35 year old minister who is so inflexible
in his righteousness that he cannot understand the frailties of the flesh
and the forgiveness of sin. I am a man who understands, after much travel through
the floods of Satan and of this life, that God wants us to stand on his
word. I cannot be dismissed as some young purist, whom many will say, just wait, his day will come. My day has come and I have already
seen Potipher's wife and other jewels of the devil, and God has made me
to still
be standing.
Instead, I am
old enough to have seen a beautiful body of Christ shamed by wicked men
who pretend to be saved and are not; I am old enough to have seen men
who were once saved and had the fire and spirit of God in them now
drifting in a wasteland of sin and lust for money to the point that
God's spirit is no longer in them. I am not some novice who has not experienced a walk
with God and the temptations and Satanic influences that all true saints
in light must recognize and experience as they walk with God.
God has true men of God who hear his voice even during these
days of famine. What we know is this: wherever there is a famine in the
land, there is always food somewhere. These are very dark days of strong
satanic influences that have come into the church and deceived them
through their ignorance so that men are lovers of themselves more than
lovers of God.
Contrary to making Christianity easy, this nation has
made true Christianity very difficult for those who are not violently
hungry and thirsty for it. And instead of making the choice of Christ or
the world, most Christians in most churches have attempted to have both,
but that can never be. God will not allow it!
We have ministers who hold themselves out as having great
moral values but are instead engaged in great moral sins. Just last
week, the Rev. Ted Haggard, head of the 30 million member Evangelical
churches, was shown to be one of those who preached one thing and did
another. He was supposed to be a man of God, but we see that he was a
man of men. He aligned himself in politics and was not wise or learned
enough to see that whenever the church embeds himself with politics, the
church always loses. Those men of the cloth end up being just men of
sin.
Fortunately for this church organization, they had the
gumption to remove him from the pulpit quickly after learning of his
homosexual liaisons with male prostitutes and drugs. There are many in
other Evangelical and Apostolic Faith churches that have similar, if not
the same, reprehensible acts that go on year after year openly and
nothing is done
