The scriptures are clear on most things, although
wicked men inspired by Satan have learned to confuse them in
the eyes of many unlearned and not desirous of learning Christians.
Hence, these wicked men have surmised that the word of God is not
clear on anything and to anyone. Surely, however, this one word is
clear to most, even the unlearned: "Stand in the ways and see and
ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk in it, and ye
shall find rest for your souls. But they said, we will not walk in
it." [Jer. 6:16]
The prophet Jeremiah, using the eyes of God, looks
through time to now and the religious and political confusion of
now, and says that the wise of God must take a look at the
conditions that exist now and know that there are many ways that we
must examine to see what is the good way. And once we find that good
way of God, we should walk in it. But that prophet also saw that
this time would be so convoluted, so Satan-driven with the things of
this world that once that good way is found, the
people who say they are of God will not walk in that good way of
God!
Instead they put Christ to an open shame by
twisting, tearing, contorting, distorting, and warping God's word all out of
proportion, as they stretch it to fit their sinful, damnable and
distorted form of Christianity. My dear friends reading this word of
God, we are in dangerous times of deception, times of Satan-driven
confusion, hypocrisy, and utter disgrace! And we think nothing of
that disgrace and our shame. Most of those who once
knew God, although still linger in the churches pretending to that
they still
know God and still walk in his word, have turned away from the right
way of God and have perverted God's word to fit their own fancy.
They will not do the word nor will they allow the truth of God entry into
their lives or into the hearing of those whose lives they have
manipulated and have set on the road to perdition for their own
financial, sexual, and ego-psychological benefits.
We are now at that stage in the latter days when the
scriptures say, "...Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and sea!
For the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he
knoweth that he hath but a short time." [Rev. 12:12] The devil
has come down among the people, inhabiting them, influencing them,
recruiting them, and blinding them so that they do not see that the behavior which
they are exhibiting is the direct actions of Satan. The Bible says
that the devil knows that his time is short--Christ is soon to come
and overthrow his influence on men, but now Satan is trying to recruit,
pollute, and make all of God's people as corrupt as he is, and he is
doing a good job on many, especially ministers.
Satan knows that his time is short, but most of
those whom he has lulled to sleep and into sin and the reverie of this
life do not know that time is short and Christ is soon to come and
rescue us (those saints still in light and allowing God's word to
govern their lives) away from this
cauldron of tears we call this life. Satan has hidden that
knowledge from them and, instead, he has taught them new things and
kinds of sin--much like Eve
in the garden; he hide certain truths from her as he said, "You will
not surely die."
I would venture to say that most Christians in this
nation have lost all hope of their calling. [Eph. 1:18] The
hope of our calling is that Christ is to return and take us away
from this life unto another life. But in this nation that very
calling is a thing that Christians now snicker at. Most
Christians of America think that heaven has come down to them, and
they are willing to luxuriate in the carnal things of this world for
their few years down here and die and go to a devil's hell. (Oh yes,
the idea of a devil's hell is also another one of those things now
snickered at. But as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be,
Jesus said, in the days of the coming of the Son of Man. [Mat.
24:37] Noah said, it's going to rain, but they were so carried away
with their lives of the flesh until they laughed at him.)
Most Christians are laughing today at the word of
God, as they put Christ to an open shame and care not, nor understand
the gravity of their actions. So carried away are they with living
and getting the things of now that the things of the future with
Christ have slipped out of their grasp. But they don't care. This is
complete hedonism and absolute blindness by the glitter of this
life's gold; for they see not that the things they are now selling
their souls for and disgracing Christ who died for them are mere
things they could have walked on in glory. They have failed to see that the
things of this life and this very life itself are not worthy to even
be compared to that life to come. [Rom. 8:18]
Look at it: The life to come is eternal; this
life is 70-100 years by reason of strength--that life is without
these frail and mortal (dying and decaying) bodies that pain and
give us all types of trouble as we get older; in that new world, our
bodies will be changed like unto his glorious body is made to last
throughout all eternity without operational problems or pain. This
life has limited riches and is filled with much uncertainty, misery and much deceit
attempting to attain those riches--in that life to come we will walk on the
things we now die for; those things will be of such supply and so
meaningless that we will see them as mere trinkets that are placed
on walls,
etc.; they won't be of much importance
because there will be far greater riches and things that capture our
interests. Now we gaze in wonder of the worlds above us and gaze
into the sky in amazement; those worlds that a few men have risked
and even given their lives to get closer to will then be at our
ready to understand and, no doubt, to explore at our will and whim. The
knowledge that is now hidden from us will them be revealed to us.
These are just some of the comparisons that we see
that allow us to know that the things of this life are not worthy to
be compared with the life that should follow, yet Satan has blinded
the minds of believers and caused those who were once enlightened
and tasted of the heavenly gifts and the Holy Spirit to now walk away
from them out into the world after fools' gold and bring our Christ, who died for us that we might have a right to
live with him, to taste of the eternal things of God with him in
eternity, to an open shame! [Heb. 6:4-6] What fools we mortal be!
Today, we have sinners who were once saints still in
the church, still in positions of leadership and honor, although they
are dishonorable men. They do those things that most sinners would
not do. But Paul prophesied of these things in Acts 20: 29-30, that
these false and wicked men would arise from within the church as well as
many will come from outside the church. I would venture to say that
most of those ministers who were once saved 10-20 so years ago have
turned away from God today! Although most remain in the ministry, they
are sinners who do not the things of God but have perverted the word
of God to their liking.
Just last week, Ted Haggard, a big Evangelical
minister with a 14,000 member church and who headed a 30
million member organization of Evangelicals was outted by his gay
lover
as having been engaging in homosexual activities for three
years while saying he was against all that homosexuals stood for.
Yes, he had a family with children, but he was still homosexual. Not
only that but he is a drug user!
This is how low Christians have gone in shaming
Christ. This preacher had been educated at Oral Roberts University.
That is supposedly a Holy Ghost believing university, therefore,
unlike most Evangelicals who loudly proclaim Christ, he supposedly
had the baptism of the Spirit. He had tasted the Holy Spirit of God
and then put Christ who died for him to an open shame! How long will
this wallowing in sin by Christian hypocrites continue?
This type of sin is in all levels of Christianity.
This sin is rift throughout Holiness Churches, Apostolic Faith Churches, and
all levels of churches--churches that once taught the truth of God's
word by ministers who were once saved. Now they still preach and maintain their high positions in
churches but their sins
have driven them far away from God, [Isa. 59:1-4] but not those sinful
congregations they have minted not in the things of God but in a
cult of personality around them. I walk among these ministers and
get in great disputes with these sinner-ministers who pretend to be
Christians and act as if they know God's word. They are dumb dogs
that can only bark an uncertain sound. [Isa. 56:10-11]But God's people must be
aware of these dogs and know that these are evil workers! [Phil.
3:2]
The major cause for this unbridled carnality that is
happening in the church today
is what Paul said:
They that will be rich fall into temptation
and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which
drown men in destruction and perdition. For the love of money is
the root of all evil, which while some coveted after, they
have erred from the faith and pierced themselves through with
many sorrows. [1Tim.6:9-10]
This is a major problem with ALL American churches.
The USA is a nation centered around money, loving it, having it, or
even killing for it. It is a capitalist society and touts itself on
being so. Consequently, by and large, Americans will do anything for
money! And that includes, sadly, "Christians" as well. And since
anything can be rationalized in the eyes of some, wicked men tend to
think that their rationalizing to a person's accepting a certain
position rationalized means that a wrong thing can be made into a right through
rationalization. It cannot be: Right is right and wrong is
still wrong! Rationalizations are only systems of reasoning
that seduce people into accepting certain ideas--whether those ideas
are sound or unsound; those
rationalizations do not alter truth, they merely alter a person's
acceptance or perception of truth or other ideas. As an adjunct Professor of English and Critical Thinking, I keep this truth about rationalization and logic in
mind! Yet many have no idea of systems of logic, still Satan has
blinded their weaken minds into thinking that the foolish reasoning
they use to sway other weaken minds is not an offense against God's
word. They are wrong!
When there is a love for money, and such a
love is loose and wild in America and in American churches, Paul
said that every other form of evil is also present, because that
love for money spirit is the very root of all other forms of
evil. And as that love for money root is allowed to exist it
will be cultivated by wicked men who always teach the flawed and
unscriptural teaching of
tithe-paying for New Testament saints. Those tithes
usually go
totally or partially to them, those preachers who have a love of
money spirit. And as that teaching is allowed to go unchallenged
as a correct teaching of New Testament doctrine they err off into
other transgressions of God's word. This is the very reason God says
study to show yourself approved of God. [2Tim. 2:15] This tithe
teaching for New Testament saints is not at all a difficult doctrine
for any serious student to understand. There is nothing
controversial about it. And if a minister is teaching it, that
minister is unlearned in scripture or is deliberately
teaching an error! It takes no great scriptural exegesis to see
that tithing was NEVER intended for New Testament saint and
that God's way is a way of faith that Paul plainly laid out in the
New Testament.
The present deviance and hideous abominations of
homosexuality, drug use, illegal marriages, liars who defraud and make merchandise of
God's people, and just plain sinners have
brought Christ and his church to an open shame that is running throughout most of
the once Holy Ghost filled churches and men, whether these sins are openly
practiced or secretly engaged in, they are the result of unbridled greed
of wicked ministers who are not ministers of God but ministers of
their own greed.
The foolishness of wicked men is conveyed to the
people of God because most Christians have
not done what Paul admonished us to do (prove all things and hold
fast to that which is good; [1Thes. 5:21]examine ourselves and see if we are in
the faith. [1 Cor. 11:28; 2 Cor. 13:5]) so wicked men who arise from
among us and who come into us
have been allowed to practice their deceit as blind members have
built up cults of personalities around them and not Christ! [Acts
20:30]
Gross and abominable sin is in our camps and it
started with the love of money. From that seed all other sins have
proceeded. In reputed Apostolic "Faith" Churches men who once knew God are now
liars, homosexuals, adulters, thieves, deceitful workers, men who
have lost the hope of their calling and know not the way of God any
longer, but they stay in positions of honor, but they are
dishonorable men who do not have the small honor that plan
backsliders used to have when they backslide--they would leave the
church and go back into the world of sin. Today's form of backslidden sinner is one
that stays right in the church and continues to hold the same
position he held when he was in fact saved!
Jesus said that you will know them by their fruit. I
caution you few who may still be willing to allow God's word and not
religious personalities to govern your lives; this is a clue: Is
that minister preaching money? Usually that can be seen if that
person is using Malachi 3 to preach tithe-paying to New Testament
saints, and he receives all or most of the tithes that are paid as
if he it some Levite. If this is the case, look for all other forms
of evil to accompany him. Such a person will do whatever is
necessary to keep those tithes coming because he has no faith in
God's New Testament method of saint giving and saint support of the
ministry.
And do not deceive yourself or allow him to deceive
you: God clearly delineates the way of saint giving. The tithe was
NEVER one of those ways! And if he says it is, either he is a liar
or a minister who does not know God's word and in either case he is
unworthy of the ministry! I know for many of you who are steeped in
your tradition and the cult of personality around your pastor that
is is a difficult statement. But at some point you must stand for
God/the truth and resist all others.
Jesus similarly situated many one day when he said,
"...except you eat my flesh and drink my blood, you have no life in
you." His disciples said that what he said was a hard saying, and
many walked with him no more, but others realized the hard truth,
that Jesus and him alone had the words to eternal life and there was
no other place to go. Many of you seek shelter and comfort in a
minister, especially a minister who is not teaching the correct word
of God but says he is. [John 6:51-68] We have allowed liars
and deceivers cloaked in sheep's clothing to exist too long among us, making merchandise of
God's people. Let them get jobs elsewhere or be supported God's
way for competent work in the vineyard of God! Furthermore, such a person needs to be proved
by the saints and not go unexamined! Only a fool would allow one who
teaches thing eternal to go unproved; now God has not called us unto
foolishness but wisdom!
We have shamed Christ as these sick minister-men
(not ministers of God) have attempted to bring their sickness, their homosexuality, their
lies, their thievery, their ignorance into God's house and substantiate it as some
alternative form of truth. It is not. It is sin; and we need to know
this truth because only the truth will make us free! [John
8:32] Without
the truth we are bound.
Many unsaved Christian ministers and those who
follow them in their pernicious ways have brought Christ to an open shame and
crucified him afresh! That needs to be changed. We cannot continue to
openly shame Christ without some recompense! The Prophet Isaiah
writes that the end of all this
carnality and reveling in darkness that many are masquerading as if they are in light
will come to a flaming conclusion! He wrote,
Behold the Lord shall come with fire and His
chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with furry and
his rebukes with flames of fire. Fore with fire and his sword
will the Lord plead with all flesh; and those slain of the Lord
shall be many. [Isa. 65:15-16]
