The
Word of Truth Ministries Defenders
of Men and Haters of the Word
I am, as a minister of God, obligated to speak the things that become sound doctrine. [Titus 2:1] That is a command of God, and one I take as seriously as any portion of God's word. As I have studied, prayed, and endeavored to do just that with all my might, I am attacked verbally by blind readers of the truth of God's word through this publication of truth. Of late, a number of people have written to assure me that I should watch what I say about ministers who preach the gospel of wealth. They stoutly defend their particular ministers as men of God. Because of their blindness to what I am preaching, which is the truth of God, they have no fear in attacking me for telling the truth, as they caution my telling the truth about their preachers of the gospel of wealth, or their anointed of God, as they label them. This confusion about who is the minister of God and who is not the minister of God was present during Jeremiah's day. During that time, he went against the popular notions of false ministers who took the name of God only as a covering to take away the reproach of their sins (they spoke under their own authority, saying things that God had not given them). Jeremiah was not popular with the established religious orthodoxy who prophesied smooth sayings and divined deceits that the people wanted. Those prophets were popular with the people but they were not popular with God. [Isa. 4:1-2; Jer.14; 23; 26; 27] And the people loved their false prophets and defended them, telling Jeremiah to go elsewhere and preach his/God's truth. Likewise today, blind men who only claim to love truth rush to the defense of false prophets who divine lies that are quite palatable to them but intolerable to God, and the men of God who tell the truth of God are asked to go elsewhere and not prophesy God's truth to God's people. Today, a dumb spirit has been poured upon many and they defend men of no spiritual value. But they do not defend the word of God or God's true ministers who fight against the mighty in doing the work of God. [Judges 5:23] In Judges, we see that God cursed Meroz because they came not to the help of the Lord, to fight against the mighty. Those who attack as I preach against the fallacy of this gospel of wealth never offer any support for their beliefs because there is no biblical defense against the truth of God's word that I extol. They only suggest and say, that I should not talk about these ministers because a few of them have been blessed financially by these preachers' ministries, or so they suppose; they point me to their web sites, as if I have not been to them and considered what they had to say. Contrary to their beliefs and possibly their preachers of blindness, I read other ministers and teachers/writers; I listen to other preachers also to see if they are telling the truth, if they have the light of God, if I can learn anything from them, if I can sense the anointing of God in their words. I entertain their ideas and do as Paul said, I prove all things and hold fast to that which is good; I search the scriptures to see if the things they say are true. [Acts 17:11] By God's grace, I am willing and able to see errors that exist, as God has commissioned this ministry to write the vision and make it plain. [Hab. 2:2] Furthermore, I suggest that if I am wrong, put forth your comments to show me (by God's word or sound reasoning) where I am wrong. But that is not what I am faced with. Instead, I am told such things as be careful in touching God's anointed, yet they are not careful enough to recognize God's anointed to whom they admonish. Again, I cite Jeremiah as the pattern of their actions today. Today is the day of man, which is also the day of the beast. As a result, men who do not know God nor his ministers rush to defend their favorite preachers as if those ministers are in fact God. That is the blindness and madness that has crept upon many of God's people. And this blindness may well have developed because of the spirit of wealth that has swept over Americans and over too many of God's people. Many who actually feign faith in God are given totally and partially over to the love of money. That spirit is the root of ALL evil, and Paul also says, that those who have that spirit have erred from the faith and pierced their souls through with many sorrows because the love for money is the very root and foundation for all other evils. [1Tim. 6:10] So where these preachers of wealth are, there are all forms of evil. The gospel of wealth preachers have taken the people of God down the road to the world of things, and those poor souls do not know how far they have gone away from God with this false teaching. Deceived Christians who have become, as Jude said they are, twice dead and plucked up by the roots, cannot see that God is not blessing them because they now have more money and bigger cars and the things of this world. [Jude 1:12] One poor bedeviled child had written on her Mercedes Benz car license, "This is my blessing from the Lord." or some other inane comment that demonstrated her lack of understanding of the place and role of Christians in this world today. Satan has deceived many once-saved saints as they go after the worldly possessions with a vengeance, even as the world does, being coached on by these false ministers of greed who preach, for their sake first and foremost, a perverted gospel of wealth. They tell and teach the people that the people ogf God are going to take back everything that is rightfully theirs that Satan has stolen. One of the major problems with such a notion is this: these ministers have no idea of what they are talking about because they have no idea of the timelines for Jesus, not them, subduing all things unto himself and taking back from Satan all that was lost by man to Satan, as man disobeyed God. [1 Cor. 15:28; Col.1:20] Do understand that Satan is not now in chains, but he is still the god of this world, and we, the saints of God, are pilgrims and strangers in this world. We are looking for another place, whose builder and maker is God. [John 14; 2 Cor. 4:4; Heb.11:13; 1 Pet. 2:11] As a result of man's failure to obey God, Satan is now the god of this world; that has not now changed, and there are certain timelines for that continuing. To attempt what these gospel of wealth preachers are claiming they are doing--taking back the things of the children of God from Satan--is much like the prodigal son who wanted all that was his instantly. His action was premature and imprudent--it was a childish son unwilling to wait his due. It is a child who demands his inheritance now, and if the parents will not die soon enough, that child will kill the parents. These preachers' notion of taking back from Satan is vain, carnal, earthly, satanic, and an absurd analysis of God's word! But this type of preaching catches on because it allows and even promotes worldliness in the guise of godliness! I know that such a startling statement is offensive to those who are ensnared in this false gospel, but I am commissioned by God the make this truth plain--not that you will change, but my words will echo against you in judgment if you do not. For many have already been given a strong delusion so that even as Pharaoh could not and would not change, they cannot and will not change. But I am in the company of those who were given God's word and published it, and great is that company! [Psa. 68:11] We are not now called to take back worldly things from Satan--these things will be put under Christ's foot. Our goal, our commission, our command is to be like Jesus now, to perfect ourselves for his return, NOT to be wealthy with this world's good. With such things as you have, be content, Paul admonishes us. [Mat. 5:48; Heb. 13:5] Jesus said that the servant is not above his master, but if he would be perfect, he is to be like his master. [Mat. 10:24] Well, look unto Jesus, a man approved of God: He made of himself no worldly reputation, but took upon himself the form of a servant; [Phil. 2:7] he was bruised and despised more than any man; he didn't even own a donkey to ride into town on; he had no home, no money in the bank, not even a grave to be buried in. Yet, he said be perfect--not rich--as he was perfect; he said that the servant must be as his master. [Mat. 5:48] What type of picture do these ministers of wealth have of Christ as they fly in their own private jets to places where they make their proselytes twofold more children of hell than they themselves are? [Mat. 23:15] What type of picture of Jesus have they, as they drive their overly expensive cars to and from their rich, gated community homes, wearing their expensive clothing, etc.? Jesus said such people are not prophets but are in kings' palaces, not in the ministry of Christ. [Lk. 7:25] And from which Bible do they get that picture of Christ? Regular, normal, common sense would tell any reasonable person that the gospel of wealth is antithetical to Christianity--it is what Paul called another gospel that is an accursed gospel possessed by an accursed people. [ Gal. 1:6-8] It is a fool who thinks that were Jesus here today he would be driving a big luxury car costing thousands, living in million dollar homes, and wearing thousand dollar suits and clothing; such a person knows NOTHING of God's word and is a deceiver! I am sorry to be the one to present this harsh truth to you, but it is what God has tasked me with, and so I run publishing this truth. Jesus was a servant. Those who dress in such gorgeous apparel are in kings' castles, Jesus said. And if they have acquired such wealth from the people of God, they have made merchandise of God's people. [2 Pet. 2:3] My dear readers, many once-saved Christians have gotten so comfortable in this world with this world's goods and men of the world that they have gone away from Christ completely and are now defending deceivers, liars, charlatans, false prophets, and those who are against God, as they attack those who would tell them the truth. Of course, they do not defend these wicked men by the word of God because they no longer abide by the word in its correct interpretation; nor do they consider it in its pure form, for if they did, they would hear my words. Furthermore, because they are weak in understanding God's word, these weak ministers and Christians think that anything can be proved or defended by the Bible. It can be, if one does not know the word. But God's true ministers are not deceived or confused--they know God's word and can rightly divide it. [2 Tim.2:15] This confusion is the poor state of the organized church world--they have been fed milk so long they are tossed to and fro with any and every wind of doctrine that wicked men lie in wait to deceive them with. [Eph. 4; Heb. 5:13] And they assume that their weaknesses are shared by all, but I assure you, those limitations are not the limitations of all. God has ministers whom he has opened their understanding, their minds, their eyes, and taught His word to, whom he speaks to so abundantly that they cannot preach or write all that he gives them! There are real ministers of God who would not deceive the people of God because they have the ability to do so, who would not preach a gospel that is not a gospel. God has ministers who have daily adventures with him that are so marvelous it astounds them daily--my God is real and alive and he knows the way that I take because my feet and my steps are ordered by him. If you cannot hear the voice of God in this ministry it is because you are too far from God to know and hear Him! If you think that these gospel of wealth preachers are of God, you have no notion of God's truth! They are merely Amway salesmen. Just as those who rush to the defense of deceitful men, God has those who encourage the man of God as quickly as Satan attempts to attack him. Indeed, when Satan rushes in like a flood, the spirit of God will lift up a standard against him. Those who are so blinded by this world's goods do not want to be awaken, for they love darkness rather than God's light. Their deeds are evil, and they love the pleasures of their sin. They are not looking for, nor do they want Jesus to come back now or anytime soon--they have lost the hope of the believer. But regardless of what they want, he is coming to each one listening to or reading my words--hear Him now, that you may see him when he comes soon! Finally, Daniel saw the church--the people of the most high God--coming to God and to them/him was given kingdoms and dominions, but that is still for a time to come. It is not now suppose to happen. This notion of taking back from Satan something that he stole is foolishness and a disguise for man's greed and love of money. Always, those who teach such foolishness are made fat first and mostly they are the ONLY ones made fat. [Dan 7] And they usually place the people under the law through Tithes, arguing a flawed teaching that tithing is for the New Testament church. You know them by their fruits, and one such fruit is ignorance to God's word. Any minister who has studied God's word long enough knows that tithing for the New Testament church cannot be justified, and, furthermore, it places the people under the law, and they fall from grace. But these ministers do not care; they would damn God's people eternally for a few pieces of silver! These are corrupt and ignorant men. And these are the men many rush to defend, but are slow to defend the right interpretation of God's word! That is because they are, in fact, haters of God's word and lovers of this world's goods. God asks this question about man's ability to be deceived, How long will the simple love simplicity and fools hate knowledge? [Prov. 1:22] To see that these deceitful preachers are wrong is not at all difficult; a child, as most of their followers are, should not even err in seeing that--how many Jim Joneses and Rev. Ikes must there be before one can see the truth? [Dan 7 ] Christians are obligated to be lights in this dark world to show forth the goodness of God and to make our way to a city whose builder and maker is God. We are not to become entangled in the affairs and lusts of this world. Jesus said he was going to prepare a place for us where the precious things of this world will be pavement for our feet and in common abundance for our eyes and hands. Sadly, Satan has taken hold of the eyes and minds of many, and they have allowed ponzi preachers to deceive them into thinking the word of God is saying that the possessions of this world are to be theirs now. And of course, with any ponzi scheme, the con artists get theirs first and always allow a few to get something back. Solomon said that time and chance happens to us all. I suggest that instead of hating me because I teach and preach the truth, examine yourselves and see if you are of the faith; prove all things, don't just accept what I say or what any preacher says. [1 Thess. 5:21] God said that for someone to prove the minister's words was a noble act. "The Bereans were more noble than the Thessalonians for they searched the word of God diligently to see if the things Paul said were so. Become noble, by God's word prove what I say and what your ministers say to see where there is truth. [Acts 17 ] How noble are you, or how gullible are you? If you defend those who fight against God, you defend men and hate God. []
